I was born in 1970. I studied Medicine in National Kapodistrian University of Athens between 1988 and 1994. I specialized in Urology from 2000 to 2004, initially in 401 GSNA Hospital and for the biggest part in GNA G. Gennimatas Hospital. I passed my specialty exams in December 2004, and the exams for FEBU in June 2005. I then served as Locum Consultant for 1 year in GNE Thriassio from 2005 to 2006. Having succeeded in exams in the National Institution for Scholarships (IKY) in Laparoscopy-Endoscopy, I was accepted in Urology Clinic and the Scottish Lithotriptor Centre in Western General Hospital in Edinburgh by Mr. David Tolley in September 2006. I studied for 1 year as Clinical Research Fellow, and then worked in the Department as Locum Specialist Registrar and Locum Consultant from September 2007 to December 2008. I presented my PhD thesis in partial nephrectomy techniques in January 2007. In January 2009 I started working in Greece as Consultant Urological Surgeon in GHM A. Fleming, where I became Senior Consultant in June 2013.
