Short CV: 

He is a graduate of the Military Medical School (SSAS) and the Medical School of AUTh. He specialized in Urology at the 2nd Urology Clinic of the University of Athens, at Sismanogleio Hospital, and holds a PhD from the University of Athens. He specialized in Endo-urology – Urinary Calculus at Glickman Urological Institute of the Cleveland Clinic Foundation, Ohio, USA. He worked for a total of four years as a Registrar at the Urology Clinic of 401 General Military Hospital of Athens, and has been the Director of the Urology Dpt of 492 Hospital in Alexandroupolis for one year. Since 2005 he has been serving as a member of the Teaching Staff at the Urology Clinic of the University of Thrace. He received a scholarship from the State Scholarship Foundation (IKY) and has been a Fellow of the European Board of Urology (EBU) since 1999. As of 2004 he has been a member of the examining team of the European Board of Urology. He has made more than 30 publications in international medical journals and is well-known in the scientific and training community in Greece. He has participated as an invited surgeon in five conferences with live surgery sessions. His special interests include laparoscopic urology, endo-urology and urinary calculus.
